SynTView is a microbial genome comparative and interactive viewer meant to run either as a web-based tool or as a desktop application. The software offers a generic genome browser and specialized views, all dynamically inter-connected, for the presentation of syntenic organizations of microbial genomes and the visualization of polymorphism data (typically Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms – SNPs) along these genomes.

The SynTView software it therefore ideally suitable for the exploration of data obtained in NGS-based population genomics studies.

Please consult our "Get Started" instructions to learn more about SynTView and get practical informations for setting up and using the software.

SynTView was developed at Institut Pasteur
